Daughtery takes first at Kiwaniis Talent Show
MORRIS – Eight acts competed in the final round of preliminary competition for the Kiwanis Talent Show, held Thursday at East Side Park in Morris.
Dancers swept each of the four weeks, with 7-year-old dancer and choreographer Tysen Daughtery winning Thursday night. Tysen won $50 for his first place finish.
Second place and a $25 prize went to magician Sae Sun Kim of Morris.
Singer/songwriter William White placed third.
All three acts will participate in the talent show finals on Friday, July 12 as part of the Prairie Pioneer Days celebration in Morris.
