County sheriff's office arrests Starbuck man
The Stevens County Sheriff's Office assisted in the arrest of a Starbuck man accused of having a marijuana growing operation in the City of Starbuck.
Edward Arthur Sievert, Jr., of Starbuck, was located and arrested by the Stevens County Sheriff's Office on Thursday at his workplace in Hancock, Stevens County Sheriff Randy Willis said.
According to Starbuck Police, Sievert is in jail awaiting formal charges. He was arrested for a 5th degree controlled substance crime.
The Starbuck Police, the Pope County Sheriff's Office and the West Central Minnesota Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a Starbuck residence and located the marijuana and seized it.
