Cougar tennis falls in UMAC Semifinals

The No. 4 seeded University of Minnesota, Morris, women's tennis season came to an end on Friday, May 2, falling 8-1 to No. 1 seeded St. Scholastica in a match that was closer than the final score. Abby Fragodt scored the lone the win for the Cougars, winning 6-3, 6-3 in the number one singles match. BOX SCORE
Fragodt and Kayla Kraemer nearly pulled off a win in the number one doubles match, falling 9-7 in the back and forth match. Morris battled tough in three other singles matches on the day as well. Christina Mollan fell 6-4, 6-3 in the number two singles match.
Both Kraemer and Kayla Henga lost 6-3, 6-4 in their singles matches, coming up just short.
Fragodt finished the season 10-3 on the season in her singles matches.
