BENEFIT DINNER FOR ANGELA FRANEY with a free will donation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Morris Area High School cafeteria, 201 So. Columbia Ave., Morris. A silent auction will also be held with various items donated. All proceeds will go to Angela to help with her medical expenses. The benefit dinner is a collaborative effort between the Morris Area School Board and the Morris Area Teachers' Association. s15


PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP will be held at the Cyrus School. Serving a supper for families from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a parent/child activity time and informational meeting. Call to sign up for Round-up at 320-795-2217. s15


Learning Unlimited presents a talk by Norman Gronwold on "The Problem with our Money" at 6 p.m. in the community room of the Morris Public Library. Gronwold is a lifelong farmer from the Herman-Norcross area who has studied economics for over 40 years. This will be Learning Unlimited's final program. s15


A BENEFIT FOR JOAN JIPSON, who lost her home and possessions in a fire, will be held at Buddies in Hancock from 1-4 p.m. Pulled pork sandwiches, salad, chips and beverage will be served. Free-will donation or shower-type gifts will be appreciated. s15

MINNEWASKA SINGLES game night will be held at 7 p.m. at the American Legion in Glenwood. Bring a snack to share. Info call 320-283-5612. s16

FEDERATED CHURCH'S THIS & THAT SALE will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church in Morris. There will be crafts, plants, baked goods and white elephant sales. Morning rolls and coffee and lunch will be served. All proceeds go to missions. s16

PANCAKE BREAKFAST BENEFIT for Phil Groneberg will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 311 S. Columbia St., Morris. Supplemental funds from Thrivent Financials for Lutherans. s15

SPRING FLING will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Donnelly from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Includes raffle, bake sale, cards, white elephant. Lunch served. s15


AN Easter egg hunt will be held at Glacial Lakes State Park (5 mi. south of Starbuck--from Starbuck go 3 mi. south on St. Hwy 29, then 2 mi. south on Cty Rd 41) beginning at 2 p.m. Bring your own basket. s16
