SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27

HALLOWEEN IN THE HALLS will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Student Center on the University of Minnesota, Morris campus. Free parking available in all lots. Contact mschamp@morris.umn.edu with questions.

HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Stevens County History Museum. Costumes optional. Suggested donation is $2. Bring an item for the food shelf.

SCREENING OF "THE POWER OF MINNESOTA" will be held at 2 p.m. at the Morris Theatre. The documentary discusses the evolution and innovation of Minnesota communities and their shift to cleaner energy resources. The MAHS Robotics team will present its solar panel project before the viewing. After the viewing, a community discussion will be led by Morris Model.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30

MULTI-MEDIA FLAMENCO PUPPET SHOW will be presented at 4 p.m. at the Morris Public Library. Children will learn about Spain, the art of flamenco, acceptance of newcomers, and a song for Torito.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31

TRICK-OR-TREATING will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at West Wind Village (1001 Scotts Ave., Morris). Games, food, prizes for kids of all ages offered.

TRUNK OR TREAT will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at Heartland Motor Company (1 East Hwy 28, Morris). Hot cocoa provided along with treats and giveaways.

TRICK-OR-TREATING will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Morris Public Library.

TRUNK OR TREAT will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Federated Church (200 South Columbia Ave., Morris). Enjoy trick-or-treating indoors.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1

FALL SOUP SUPPER will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Morris (108 West 8th St.). Free-will donations support the Stevens County 4-H.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3

FREYA OUR FIGHTER CANCER BENEFIT will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Morris. BBQs, chips, dessert will be served for a free-will offering. There will be a silent auction. The benefit will help support travel, living and medical expenses for Freya Pederson and her parents, Brian and Jess.

COMMUNITY CRAFT & BAKE SALE will be held from 1 to 8:30 p.m. at the Farwell Norwegian Lutheran Church. Steven Larson art show will be in the schoolhouse from 1 to 7 with a reception from 5 to 6. A concert held in the church from 7 to 8:30.
